Mini Mochi Crochet 18" Doll Set

Note: This 18" doll set will fit dolls such as Madame
Alexander, American Girl, etc.
Materials
1 - 50 gr ball Crystal Palace Mini
Mochi: Color #107 'autumn rainbow' MC - slow striping color
1 - 50 gr ball Crystal Palace Mini
Solid: Color #1104 'loden' CC - solid color
Size D crochet hook
3 buttons
Gauge: 6 dc = 1" Turning ch
at beginning of rows will be counted as a dc.
Sweater
1: With CC, ch 36, turn. Dc in 3rd ch from hook
and next 3 ch, *(dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch, dc in next 7 ch.* Repeat between *
twice more, *(dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch,
Dc in last 5 dc. (6 dc on each front, 9 dc each sleeve and back).
2: Ch 2 , turn. Dc in next 5 dc, *(2 dc, ch 2,
2 dc) in sp, dc in next 9 dc.* Repeat between
* twice more, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner sp, dc in last 6 dc.
Repeat row 2, working dc in each dc, (2 dc, ch
2, 2 dc) in corner spaces): 2 rows MC, 1 row CC, 3 rows MC.
End by working a right-side row (20 dc on each front, 37 dc on each sleeve and
back.
Fasten off.
Sleeve
1: With wrong side facing and CC, attach MC at first corner sp,
ch 2, dc in each dc to next
corner, dc in corner sp - 39 dc.
2-4: Ch 1, turn. Sc in next 5 dc, hdc in next 5 dc, dc in next 19 dc, hdc in
next 5 dc,
sc in last 5 dc.
5-8: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each st across (39 dc)
9: Ch 1, turn. Sc in first dc, *sc decrease across next 2 dc.* - 20 sc.
10-11: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc. Fasten off.
With wrong side facing, attach yarn at
next corner sp and complete as for first sleeve.
Body
1: With wrong side facing, attach yarn to right front edge, ch 2, dc in each dc
across front,
Dc in next 2 corner spaces, dc in ea dc across back, dc in next 2 corner spaces,
dc to end.
2: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each dc to end.
Repeat row 2 seven times more.
Border: Ch
1, turn. Sc in each dc to end. Repeat this row once more. Do not fasten off.
Front Border.
1: Ch 1 turn 90 degrees and sc in same place, 2 sc under bar of each dc across
front.
2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in ea sc to end - 32 sc.
3: (buttonhole row). Ch 1, turn. Sc in each of next 21 sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, sc
in next
5 sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, sc to end.
4: Ch 1 turn. Sc in each sc, 2 sc in each ch-2 space to end.
5: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc. Fasten off.
Hat
1: Ch 6, join with slip st to form ring.
2: Ch 3, work 11 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of beg ch. 3 - 12 dc.
3: Ch 3, dc in sl st, 2 dc in ea dc around, join with sl st to top of beg ch 3 -
24 dc.
4: Ch 3, dc in sl st, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc.* Repeat between * around,
ending
dc in last dc, join with sl st to top of beg ch 3. - 36 dc.
5: Ch 3, dc in same place, dc in ea of next 2 dc, *2 dc in next dc, dc in next
dc*.
Repeat between * around, join with sl st to top of beg ch 3 - 48 dc.
6: Ch 3, dc in each dc around. Join with sl st to top of beg ch 3.
7-11: Repeat row 6.
12: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each dc around.
13: Repeat row 12. Fasten off.
