Crystal Palace Deco Stardust: 4 (5, 5, 6, 7, 8)
50 gr. balls of Petal Pink #4001
Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles: size 10.5 (6.5mm), 26 or 35" circular, and size
9 (5.5mm), 16" circular OR size needles to obtain gauge.
Spray Bottle
Stitch holder
Stitch markers: 2 different colors, (1 to mark beginning of round and other to
mark 1/2 way point for front and back)
Pins for Blocking
Gauge: 14 sts = 4" (3.5 sts = 1") and 18 rows = 4" (4.5 rows = 1") in
stockinette stitch, using size 10.5 (6.5mm) needles
Be sure to check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.

Beg-beginning; BO-bind off; CO-cast on; Dec-decrease; K-knit; P3tog-purl 3 sts
together as one stitch; PU-pick up; Rnd-round
RS-right side; St(s)-stitch (es); YO-yarn over; *- repeat
NOTE: Tank is worked in the round to armhole, and then divided, working
front and back flat.
Body:
Using size 10.5(6.5mm) circular needles, CO 122 (126, 134, 142, 154, 170) sts. Join
round taking care that stitches aren’t twisted.
Place 1st marker for beg of rnd, purl 61 (63, 67, 71, 77, 85) sts place 2nd
marker for ½ way point, purl 61 (63, 67, 71, 77, 85).

Continue to knit every row until piece measures 14 (14.5, 15, 15.5, 16, 16.5)"
from beg, MEASURING FROM THE CAST ON EDGE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCALLOP.
This edge will roll under approximately ½" when worn.
Divide for front and back:
Put last 61 (63, 67, 71, 77, 85) sts worked on holder for front.
Note: Back and front will be worked separately, back and forth in Stockinette
Stitch from this point.
Back:
Working on 61 (63, 67, 71, 77, 85) sts for the back, BO 4 (4, 4, 5, 6, 7) sts
at the beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each end of every RS row 7 (7, 7, 7, 7,
8) times; 39 (41, 45, 47, 49, 53)) sts. Work even until armhole measures 6
(6.5, 7, 7.5, 8.25, 8.50)" from armhole BO.
Neck shaping:
Knit 10 (11, 12, 13, 13, 14) sts, bind off 19 (19, 21, 21, 23, 25) sts; attach
another ball and k10 (11, 12, 13, 13, 14) sts.
Work 1 row even. BO.
Front:
Put stitches from holder for front onto needles and work armhole shaping same
as back; AT THE SAME TIME, when the armhole measures 2 (2, 2.5, 2.5, 3, 3.5)
begin neck shaping.
Neck Shaping:
Knit to center 3 sts, BO these 3 sts. Attach another ball, working both sides
at same time; Dec 1 stitch at each neck edge every RS row 8 (8, 9, 9, 10, 10)
times. 10 (11, 12, 13, 13, 14) sts on each side.
Work even until armhole measures the same as for back.
BO.
Finishing:
With RS together sew shoulder seams.
Armhole Trim:
Using size 9 (5.5mm) needles, RS facing, beg at underarm, PU 48 (52, 56, 60,
64, 66) sts evenly around armhole. Work eyelet trim as follows:
Eyelet Trim: Multiple of 2 sts
Rnd 1: Knit
Rnd 2: *Yo, k2tog, rep from *
Rnd 3: Knit
BO all sts.
Rep for other armhole
Neck Trim:
Using size 9 (5.5mm) needles, RS facing, beg at left shoulder, PU17 (18, 20,
22, 23, 24) sts along neck edge, PU 3 center BO sts, PU17 (18, 20, 22, 23, 24)
sts along right neck edge to right shoulder, PU3st to center BO sts, PU 19
(19, 21, 21, 23, 25) center BO sts, PU3 sts to shoulder. 62 (64, 70, 74, 78,
82) sts
Work Eyelet trim around the neck same as for the armhole trim.
Work in all ends.
BLOCK:
Pin out to finished measurements; DO NOT PIN OR FLATTEN BOTTOM EDGE, allow it
to roll to the inside. Spray with water. Place clean, kitchen size towels to
weigh down neck and armhole trim if necessary, so it lays flat. Allow to dry.
