PARTY + Deco-Stardust Bias Scarf
Easy to knitEasy & Fast to Knit Makes a 5 ft+ long scarf with
one ball of Party ribbon yarn and one ball of Deco-Stardust
A "jewelry" scarf
Materials:
1-50 gr. ball of PARTY #411 (Purple Days) nylon ribbon yarn and
1-50 gr. ball of Deco-Stardust ribbon (#404 periwinkle)
Size 15 needles CPY Bamboo Needles or CPY DAISY needles
[Note PARTY is a new lustrous ribbon yarn for Spring '05 and will arrive in Jan '05
Deco-Stardust is a new 55% soft metallic fiber version of our Deco-Ribbon and will arrive in Dec-Jan.]
See another pair of Party-Deco-Stardust colors here.The entire scarf is knit in garter st (all rows knit) on the bias.
To knit scarf:
Cast on 12 sts with Deco-Stardust
Row 1: K
Row 2 (and all even number rows): K1, inc 1, K to last 3 sts, k2tog, K1.
Repeat rows 1-2 once more with Deco-Stardust.
Change to Party and work Rows 1-2 2xContinue to alternate 4 rows of each yarn, allow the yarns to travel up the side of the scarf as you change back and forth between the two yarns.
Work until you run out of Party, end with 4 rows of Deco-Stardust.
Bind off loosely.
