BeBop + Party Scarf
in Victorian Christmas Colors
1-50 gr. ball Crystal Palace
BeBop #415 'roses'
1-50 gr. ball Crystal Palace
Party #415 'roses'
size 13 or 15 9"
Crystal Palace Bamboo
or 10" Daisy Needles
[Use size 13 if you tend to knit loosely or size 15 if you knit
more tightly.]
This scarf is knit all in garter stitch (knitting all rows)
Note: Before beginning scarf, holding 1 end each of BeBop and Party, wind 8 times around a book that is approx. 11" tall, cut at top and bottom. These 16 pairs will be your fringes.
Cast on 13 stitches with Party
K 3 rows
Next row: inc 1 st at each edge [15 sts]
Change to BeBop and K 2 rows
Alternate 4 rows of Party and 2 rows of BeBop until you are almost out of Party
- dec 1 st each side and work last 3 rows in Party.
Bind off loosely.
Add 8 pairs of cut fringe yarn doubled over to each scarf end.
