Knit lengthwise on size 15 circular needles
Finished Scarf is approx. 72 inches long x 6 inches wide.
The metallic fiber in the Fizz Stardust gives some highlights and gleam to this holiday scarf.
Materials:
1 - 50 gr. ball Kiddo
(scarf in photo uses color #211 "lacquer red"
1-50 gr. ball of Fizz-Stardust
(scarf in photos uses 1 ball color #3731 evergreen")
CPY Circular 26" Bamboo Needles Size 15Stitch Used:
Garter St (knit all rows)To knit scarf:
With size 15 needle, loosely cast on 105 sts with Kiddo.
Rows 1-2: Knit with Kiddo
Rows 3-4: Change to Fizz-Stardust (doubled - pull one end from outside ball, one from inside)
Rows 5-9: Kiddo - K all rows
Rows 10-13: doubled Fizz-Stardust - K all rows
Rows 14-19: Kiddo - K all rows
Bind off LOOSELY with Kiddo[Note: I did my stripes asymmetrically deliberately, but you may prefer to make all stripes the same width = your choice.]
It is important to Bind off LOOSELY (if you tend to knit tightly - use a size 17 needle to bind off as it is important not to bind off tightly or the edge of your scarf will be bowed.)
