TuTu + Cotton Twirl Scarf

Easy to knit scarf pattern

Materials
1 - 50 gr hanks Crystal Palace TuTu  (shown here in color "scarlet")
1 - 50 gr ball Cotton Twirl #2903 - jet black
1 size 10 - 26" circular Crystal Palace Bamboo Needle

Scarf is knit lengthwise.

Size:  4" x 64"

Instructions:
Using Cotton Twirl, cast on 170 sts using cable cast on.

Rows 1-3: Knit in Cotton Twirl.
Row 4: With TuTu held in front of piece, knit Cotton Twirl and TuTu
together by catching one rectangular opening with each K st.
Rows 5-6: Knit with just Cotton Twirl.
Row 7:  With TuTu held in back of piece, knit Cotton Twirl and TuTu
together by catching one rectangular opening with each K st.
Row 8-9:  Knit with just Cotton Twirl
Row 10:  With TuTu held in front of piece, knit Cotton Twirl and TuTu
together by catching one rectangular opening with each K st.
Row 11-13:  Knit with just Cotton Twirl.

Bind off LOOSELY to prevent bowing of edge - best is to use needle 1-2
size larger to bind off.

[Note: You can knit as many rows in between the TuTu rows 
as you wish, control which side of the knitting the TuTu shows on
by holding the TuTu on that side as you knit.]
