Crystal Palace Yarns
free easy knit scarf pattern


It's very hard to photograph
metallic yarn so that is shows
how shiny and silver it looks!

Soiree + Mikado Ribbon Scarf
Knit with one ball of Soiree
and two balls of Mikado Ribbon

Materials:
1-50 gr. ball of Soiree (color 3621, silver)
2-50 gr. balls of Mikado Ribbon (color 1804, black)

26" circular CPY Bamboo, size 9 needle

The scarf is knit in garter st lengthwise on the circular needle.

Finished scarf will be approx. 3" x 55" long.

To knit scarf :
With Mikado Ribbon, cast on 240 sts.
K 4 rows, change to Soiree and K 2 rows
Change to Soiree, K4 rows, change to Soiree and K4 rows.
Continue alternating each yarn until you have almost run out of Mikado Ribbon. Cast off LOOSELY with Mikado Ribbon.

Note: I like to make my yarn changes random, but if you prefer to make the stripes and changes the same, feel free to do so.
