Splash + Cotton Chenille Hat with Pom Pom
CPY Bamboo Circular Needle – 16", size 6, DP Needles size 6

One ball of Splash (here white #201) and 2 skeins Cotton Chenille (here apple red #8166 )

Sizes Adult (11-12 pre-teen) Hat

With Splash and circular needle, cast on 70 (60) sts being careful not to twist first row.

Knit with Splash for 9 rounds.
(Note: if you want a wider Splash band of eyelash, knit 12-15 rounds)
Change to Cotton Chenille and knit in rounds for 7 inches to crown. Place a marker.
Next round: K8, K2 tog
Knit 8 (7) rounds
Next round: K7, K2tog
Knit 8(7) rounds
Next round: K6, K2 tog
Knit 8 (7) rounds
Next round: K5, K2 tog
Knit 8 (7) rounds
Next round: K4, K2tog
Knit 4 (3) rounds
Next round: K3, K2 tog
Knit 4 (3) rounds
Next round: K2, K2 tog
Knit 4 (3) rounds
Continue to K2 tog until 1 st rem, Bind off

Make a Splash Pom-Pom (If you don't know how, see basic Pom-Pom directions here)
Attach to top of hat.
