Eyes:
If this is for a child under 3 years of age, securely embroider an eye on
each side of fish head, using the two contrasting colors of scrap yarn.
If this is for someone older than 3 years of age, you can sew a button
eye on each side of head instead, if desired. It is best to pull the yarn
through the mouth opening when sewing eyes. Do not sew through to other
side of head.
Finishing:
Weave in ends. Sew inside of lip opening shut to prevent stuffing from
coming out. Stuff fish from tail
end, taking care not to over stuff.
Sew up inside of tail at narrowest part for a rippled tail, or at far edge of
tail just below curl for a straighter tail.
Weave in all remaining ends.
