Materials:
Gauge: 7.25 sts=1" over cable pattern
Abbreviations: BO- bind off; CO- cast on; k- knit; p- purl; sts- stitch(es); St st (stockinette stitch)
3-3 Cable Pattern Row A: (right leaning cable)
K4, *place 3 sts on cable st holder and hold at back of work, K3, K3 sts
off cable needle*, rep between *s to last st, end K1.

3-3 Cable Pattern Row B: (left leaning cable)
K1, *place 3 sts on cable st holder and hold in front of work, K3, K3 sts
off cable needle*, rep between *s to last st, end K4.
Instructions: (as shown in
illustrations above):
Scarf is worked in St st with all over 3/3 cable pattern.
CO 35 sts.
Rows 1-4: Work in St st (K odd rows, P even rows)
Row 5: K4, Work 3-3 Cable Pattern Row A across width of scarf, ending K1.
Rows 6 & 8: P.
Row 7: K.
Row 9: K1, Work 3-3 Cable Pattern Row B across width of scarf, ending K4.
Rows 10: P.
Row 11: K.
Row 12: P.
Repeat Rows 5-12 until almost out of yarn. End with 4 rows of St st. BO
loosely.
