mm) straight

PU-pick up; p-purl; rem-remain(ing); rep-repeat; RS-right side; selv-selvage;
skpo-slip 1, k1, pass slip stitch over the knit stitch; St(s)-stitch (es); St
st-Stockinette stitch; WS-wrong side.
Gauge:
18 sts and 27 rows = 4" in Eyelet Branch Pattern (blocked) using size 8 needles
For correct sizing, be sure to do a gauge swatch.
Back
Using size 7 straight needles, CO 93 (102, 111, 120) sts. K 8
rows.
Change to size 8 straight needles. Work first & last sts in St st.

to each side outside edge.)
Row 1(RS): *K6, K2tog, K1, YO; rep from * to last st, end K1.
Row 2 and all even rows: Purl.
Row 3: *K5, K2tog, K1, YO, K1; rep from* to last st, end; K1.
Row 5: *K4, K2tog, K1, YO, K2; rep from* to last st, end K1.
Row 7: *K3, K2tog, K1, YO, K3; rep
from* to last st, end K1

Work Rows 1-20 of Chart AT THE SAME TIME decrease 1 st at each

Work all dec sts into patt as established, work last st in St st when YO is at
beg or end of row.
Work even until piece measures 9 (9-1/2, 10, 10-1/2)" from CO edge. Mark beg &
end of row.
Begin Raglan Shaping
Dec 1 st at each end of next row, every 4 rows 6 (5, 4, 2) times
& every other row 11 (15, 19, 24) times— 45 (48, 51, 54) sts.
Work even until armhole measures 7 (7-1/2, 8, 8-1/2)" from markers.
BO all sts.
Front
Make same as for the back.
Sleeves (Make 2)
Using size 7 straight needles, CO 74 (74, 83. 83) sts. K 8 rows.
Change to size 8 straight needles. Work first & last sts in St st,
Work Rows 1-20 of Chart Rows AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st at each end every 6 rows
7 (7, 5, 5) times & every 4 rows 0 (0, 4, 4) times—60 (60, 65, 65) sts.
Work all dec sts into patt as established, (work in St st when YO is at beg or
end of row).
Work even until piece measures 8 (8, 8-1/2, 8-1/2)" from CO edge. Mark beg & end
of row.
Begin Raglan Shaping
Cont to work in patt as established, dec 1 st at each end of next row; & every 4
rows 5 (5, 6, 8) times & every other row 14 (14, 15, 13) times—20 (20, 21, 21)
sts.
Work even until sleeve cap measures 7-1/2 (8, 8-1/2, 9)" from markers. BO all
sts.
Straps (Make 2)
Using size 7 straight needles, CO 7 sts. Work in K1, P1 rib for 6 (6, 6-1/2.
6-3/4)". BO all sts.
Finishing
Sew sleeves to front and back. Work neckband. Sew side
and sleeve seams. Sew shoulder straps. Work in ends to WS.
Neckband
Using size 8 circular needles, RS facing, begin at left shoulder seam. PU 40
(42, 44, 46) sts across front, 14 (14, 16, 16) sts across shoulder, 40 (42, 44,
46) sts across back, & 14 (14, 16, 16) sts across shoulder—108 (112, 120, 124)
sts.
PM, join into rnd. Work K1, P1 rib for 8 rnds. BO in rib.
