3 - 50 gr balls each of 4 colors: Deep Forest (#5214) – Color A; Fall Herbs
(#9809) – Color B; Burnt Orange (#5218) – Color C; and Nougat (#5216) – Color D.
Knitting Needles: US 10½ (6.5 mm)
Gauge:
17 sts/23 Rows in Stockinette St = 4” (10 cm)
Abbreviations/Definitions:
KW = knitwise; M1 = make 1; PFB = increase by purling in front
and back of st; PSSO = pass slipped st over; PU = pick up; PW = purlwise; RS =
right side; Seed St = Row 1: Sl 1 wyif, P1, (K1, P1) across Step; Row 2: Sl 1

Sl 1 = Slip 1 st pw (wyif) unless otherwise specified;

Instructions:
Foundation Rectangles
Rectangle 1: With Color A, cast on 20 sts; work in Seed St for 40 Steps.
On last row, do not turn; do not break yarn and let these 20 sts “rest”
Rectangles 2 and 3: Repeat Rectangle 1.
After last row of Rectangle 3, cut yarn; turn.
