Walking in the Maize
by KyleAnn Williams of

Designer's notes: My wonderful husband and I love to walk. We try to walk at least a couple miles every day. My favorite (store-bought) walking socks have a 1x1 ribbed section along the arch of my foot, which allows the sock to comfortably hug my foot. I measured from the back of my own heel to where that ribbing begins, and it is about 3” (7.5 cm). Since I want this pair to become my new favorite, I measured about 3” from the back of the heel and am beginning my ribbing here and will work it for about 2.5” (6.5 cm), which is about where the ball of my foot begins. I invite you to do the same. - Another option is to work this ribbed section in your contrasting color.

Special Thanks to KyleAnn Williams for designing these MAIZY socks.
We saw an original pair in white Maizy with contrasting dark toe and heel and loved them. So KyleAnn did a 2nd version for us to publish.
