Back Using size 7 straight needles, CO 97 (109, 121, 133) sts. Knit 1 row. Work in Ripple Stitch pattern as follows: Row 1(RS): Knit. Row 2: Purl. Row 3 and 4: Knit. Row 5 and 6: Purl. Row 7: Knit. Working both sides at the same time continue to work in patt dec 4 sts at each neck edge every other row 1 time, 2 sts every other row 1 time, 1 st every other row 1 (2, 3, 3) times and 1 st every 4 rows 2 times. Work even until armhole measures same as the back BO 22 (23, 24, 25) sts for each shoulder. Sleeves (Make 2) Finishing Sew shoulder seams. Work neckband, then placket bands. Sew buttonhole band to placket opening Place button band under buttonhole band. Line up bottom edges. Sew them together. Sew sleeve caps to armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew buttons to button band. Neckband Using size 6 circular needles, R S facing. Beginning at back left neck (at opening) PU 10 (12, 14, 16) sts at neck edge to shoulder seam; PU, 37 (41, 45, 47) sts around neck to right shoulder seam, PU 10 (12, 14, 16) sts-57 (65, 73, 79) sts. Row 1 (WS): Purl. Row 2: Knit. Row 3 and 4: Purl. Row 5 and 6: Knit. Rows 7: Purl. Row 8 and 9: Knit. Row 10 and 11: Purl. Rows 12-21: Repeat Rows 2-11. Rows 23-25: Repeat Rows 2-4. BO all sts in knit. Placket Bands Using size 6 needles, RS facing. Buttonhole band Beg at top right neckband. PU 32 sts along placket opening. Rows 1-4: Knit. Row 5 (buttonhole band): K3, YO, ssk, *K6, YO, ssk; rep from *two more times, K3. Rows 6-9: Knit. BO all sts. Button band Beg at lower edge of placket opening.
